Good result.
A Ciaran Clark header in the opening minutes of the first half was enough for Ireland to pick up a 1-0 win against Switzerland tonight.
The game won’t live long in the memory but it’s another positive result against a quality side ahead of this summer’s European Championships in France.
The only bad moment of the night was the injury to Kevin Doyle who went off with a gashed leg.
Here’s the best Twitter reaction to the game at the Aviva.

Decent. Wes, O'Kane, McCarthy improved the team so much. If we have any interest in creativity, start Wes and Judge on Tuesday. #IREvSWI

If I lived to 100 & didn't shave I'd still never produce enough hair to replicate RK's beard. He seems to grow it like lightening. #IREvSWI
