Carl Kinsella

We simply cannot wait.

Game of Thrones makes its long-awaited return to our screens on April 24, but the first details of season six’s first episode has hit the internet this evening.

Assuming you now have well and truly braced yourselves, we will revealed that the inaugural episode of season six will be called ‘The Red Woman’ – a title that we can only assume refers to Melisandre.

The synopsis, according to an official HBO press release, is as follows:

Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.

The episode was written by show-runners David Benioff & D. B. Weiss, and boy are we excited now.
