House of Cards has one of the most recognisable themes in the televisual world.
But, as is the case with most of our favourite themes – like the Game of Thrones one – they’re much better craic when you add lyrics.
For example:
Popular folk musician Father John Misty has added his own lyrics to House of Cards theme, which was composed for the show by Jeff Beal. Misty, who is also known by his real name Josh Tillman, posted the lyrics to his Twitter earlier on today.
Give them a read, they are unmistakably House of Cards-related. We don’t really see how you’d sing them along to the theme tune though… We hope, nay, demand that Father John Misty makes a video to clear this up.
