Here’s everything that Bruce Springsteen fans need to know about his upcoming gigs

Paul Moore

The Boss is back.

There’s only one show in town this weekend as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band return to Dublin to perform The Boss’ seminal 1980 album, The River. Here’s everything that you need to know about the upcoming gigs on Friday and Sunday.

Stage times.

Both gigs starts at 7 pm but as Springsteen fans will know, it’s going to be a long show. The Boss played 32 songs during his most recent gig at Manchester so he’s got plenty of tunes to play before the 11 pm curfew kicks in.

As always, there’s no support act playing before The Boss takes the stage. What a man.

Gates open at 5pm for anyone that wants to get to Croke Park early.

Set list.

Here’s what he played in Manchester. There’s no excuse for you not to be dancing in the dark.

What’s the story with the Luas?

The strike is off so it should be easier for anyone that’s travelling into the city centre. Give yourself plenty of time though because Ireland’s match against the Netherlands is also taking place on Friday night.

What’s the weather going to be like?

Here’s what’s predicted for both days. It’s going to be clear but you never know with Irish weather.
