Introducing Red Hot Chilli Peppers…
Okay let’s be real, Red Hot Chilli Peppers are one of few bands who probably made it to certain parts of the world before electricity did – they don’t need any introduction. But they’re back.
The genre-bending megastars return with a new album in 2016 with an album called ‘The Getaway’ and they’ve released the record’s eponymous lead single this week.
The new song is not without funk entirely, but the emphasis is definitely on the chill. There’s no rough, raw emotion here – The Getaway is a simple, summer banger that will serve as the backdrop for many barbecues to come.
