Photographer Marc O’Sullivan happened to be passing by Moore Street in Dublin on Wednesday when he came across this real life episode of Robot Wars.
He tells JOE: “The robot is about nine feet tall, moves fast, and he scared the bejaysus out of people.
“However, when he needs to go long distances he gets onto this little buggy that drives him around.
“I was just walking past when, perfect timing, the guy in the mobility scooter drives alongside him.”
A cracker of a moment.

This is the robot at the Street Performer’s Fair in Dublin in 2009. He’s still in good nick.
