Enda’s obviously keeping busy during his summer holidays.
As it does throughout the world, Game of Thrones has legions of fans in Ireland, but did you know that Enda Kenny himself has a small part to play in making the show as wildly popular as it is?
We didn’t know ourselves until we were made aware of the fact by JOE reader Joe Langan on Twitter, who spotted the name of Enda Kenny on the end credits while watching the most recent episode of Season Six last night.

It may come as a small source of disappointment to learn that the Enda Kenny in question is not, in fact, the Taoiseach, but chief textile artist Enda Kenny, who, according to IMDB, worked on four episodes in the current series and has been a creative consultant and costume breakdown supervisor on the show in the past.
Probably a good job his name is restricted to the end credits in fairness; if he thinks life in Leinster House is tough, he’d do well to last a day or two in Westeros.
Cheers to Joe Langan for sending this one our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail editorial@JOE.ie.
