We work in the business and, to tell you the truth, even we’re not sure how they ended up doing this.
The Toronto Sun, a Canadian media outlet, have ended up posting a wildly inappropriate picture alongside what was supposed to be a feel-good article about the upcoming European Championships in France when they tweeted it out.
The tweet, which read ‘Euro 2016 hosts aspire to put a smile back on the faces of the people of France’, was accompanied by a recent picture of disgraced former-American footballer OJ Simpson sitting in court, looking somewhat surprised.
Simpson is currently serving a 33 year sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping in 2008, so it is highly unlikely that he will be attending the Euros – let alone making any French people smile.
