What goes on tour…
Being abroad can cause people to act in mysterious ways and being part of a large group of supporters at a major tournament, it would appear, brings out the mischief in everyone.
That’s why it probably seemed perfectly normal for an Irish fan to clamber into a giant football at the Gare du Stade de France, the nearest train station to the stadium in Saint Denis, following the Ireland v Sweden game on Monday.
We’re led to believe that the fan in question was from Cork, but he had no misgivings about being rolled and kicked around the place by a group of assembled Irish and Swedish football fans in what must have been a dizzying 20 seconds or so.

The cheer at the end would suggest he survived the experience intact.
