In case you didn’t know, drinking in Paris can be expensive.
If they weren’t aware of it before they went, Irish fans wouldn’t have been long finding that out in Paris in the last few days.
Colin Joseph McGerty and five of his mates from Fermanagh paid a visit to a bar in central Paris on Tuesday night and were left with this bill before they left.
If they do it every night, it’s going to be an expensive stay in France.
Considering there are just under two pints in a litre, the price of drink is not a great deal more expensive that you might find in some establishments in, for example, Dublin’s Temple Bar, but you wouldn’t be long burning a hole in your pocket all the same.
€17 for a litre of beer? We hope it was worth it.
