PIC: This Irish flag for the Belgium game takes the cheekiest dig at Eamon Dunphy

Carl Kinsella

Eamon Dunphy is a very critical man, so it’s no surprise that he’s got his own critics.

True to form, he caused a bit of upset after Ireland’s impressive draw with Sweden earlier in the week – calling centre-mid James McCarthy a ‘traffic cop’ and accusing him of getting former Everton manager Roberto Martinez the sack.

Needless to say, a lot of people took at least a bit of umbrage with Dunphy’s most recent controversial comments – and these lads from Belfast have put it very succinctly with the flag they’re bringing to Ireland’s clas with Belgium this weekend.

We’d take Belgian waffles any day, but we’re hoping the boys in green won’t give Eamon too much to waffle about on Saturday evening.
