UEFA clearly didn’t get the memo about today being a day for relaxation and enjoyment, because they’ve only gone and taken the early kick-offs away from us.
For the final round of group stages of Euro 2016, each day’s games will kick-off at the same time to prevent any kind of collusion between teams.
Not everybody realised this, which means that plenty of football fans have settled into their sofas this afternoon only to be very disappointed by the lack of footie on television.
All the games will now kick-off at 8pm until the last 16 begins.
