There’s no place quite like Dublin during the summer and to celebrate this, we’re taking a look at some of the great events that are on in the city over the next couple of months.
Vodafone Comedy Festival – Iveagh Gardens – 28 to 31 July
The Vodafone Comedy Festival is back in the beautiful Iveagh Gardens this year. Highlights include Bill Burr, Des Bishop, Stewart Francis and Jason Byrne.
It’s sure to be an absolute cracker!

Longitude – Marley Park – 15-17 July
The National are making a habit of rocking up in Dublin’s most beautiful and scenic parks.
A few years ago they treated us to an absolutely wonderful gig in the Iveagh Gardens and this year they’re playing Marley Park as part of the epic Longitude festival.

The 2016 Dublin LGBTQ Pride Parade, June 25
Gathering will be at the Garden of Remembrance, marching past the GPO and finishing at Merrion Square, the 2016 Dublin Pride Parade is expected to attract hundreds of LGBT people, family and friends.

Leinster Hurling final, Kilkenny v Galway – Croke Park – July 3
Familiar foes face off once again in this year’s Leinster hurling final. The Cats will fancy their chances, but Galway look a serious threat after convincing wins over both Westmeath and Offaly.

Can you imagine, spending the first half of the day watching an amazing Leinster hurling final. Then, you spend that evening watching rock gods, Stereophonics, in the beautiful surroundings of Kilmainham.
