TWEETS: The stunned reaction to the best Game of Thrones episode of the series

It’s been building to this moment, and it didn’t disappoint.

That absolute bastard that is Ramsey Bolton/Snow is gone,and we can all rejoice because his death was as painful as possible… is it abundantly clear we didn’t like Ramsey, but at the same time we watched every week to see what he’d do?

Jon Snow won the Battle of the Bastards with a little help from Petyr Baelish and the Knights of the Vale.

But was anybody else upset when the last Giant was struck down by the arrow of Ramsey? We felt a little pang, we were getting attached to that big fella.

One of the moments intended to be the saddest ended up just frustrating us, and that of course was Rickon’s long run across no man’s land.

For the love of God man, at least zig-zag a little bit…

Aside from that, definitely our favourite episode of the season so far and in the discussion for our favourite of the six seasons.
