VIDEO: There’s an Irish fan embassy in Lille for any Irish who get into bother

Alan Loughnane

This could be handy for any travelling fans.

There’s been a lot of lost passports in France during the Euros and while there’s some good news stories, it can be a right pain in the hole trying to recover it.

For fans in Lille for the Irish game against Italy, there’s a handy little Irish fan embassy set up to help you out if you get into a spot of trouble, such as with your passport.

Situated in Place du theatre in Lille, Irish fans are urged to contact the pop up fan embassy if they lose their passports, end up in a drunk tank, or if they find a fellow Irish fan who’s lost and in a bit of bother etc.

The hotline number for fans in Lille is +33785103902.

Write it down folks…
