Speaking this week about his upcoming rematch with Nate Diaz, McGregor faced questions about his recent fallout with UFC.
The Crumlin fighter “retired” briefly earlier this year after he felt too much pressure for promoting the brand fell on his shoulders.
Asked where he stood with the UFC now, McGregor explained that he deserved leeway saying “I feel I carried 2015 on my back. I feel like the reason there’s a $4.2billion price tag on the company because of me. That’s what the Chinese estimate my net worth, at $4.2billion.”

This certainly seems a little steep, and we aren’t entirely sure who he is referring to when he says “the Chinese” but one thing’s for sure: the man is doing well for himself.
He’ll be fighting Nate Diaz again at UFC 202 in August.
