Great news for fans of Catastrophe on Channel 4

Tony Cuddihy

One of the best comedies of the last few years is not going away any time soon.

Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney’s Catastrophe has been renewed for two more series on Channel 4.

The show has received a number of awards since it was first shown in 2015, with head of comedy Phil Clarke praising, “the brave, razor edged, excruciatingly honest and painfully funny portrayal of a modern, long term relationship.”

Catastrophe tells the story of two immigrants in London – she’s from Ireland, he’s from the States – who get involved with each other after an unplanned pregnancy.
