One Facebook user became ‘internet’ famous overnight when his complaint to Tesco about a dead worm in his cucumber ended in a brilliant back and forth between himself and the supermarket.
Wes Metcalfe purchased a cucumber to make himself his favourite meal, a cucumber sandwich, but he was aghast to find a deceased worm within his cucumber.
He took to Facebook to complain to Tesco…
Rob from their customer care team took the time to reply to the post… and it was all rather poetic.
Wes decided to send William off in style, by celebrating his full and carefree life…

In all seriousness though, finding a worm in your food is pretty horrendous, and Wes wanted to ensure that he received the proper compensation for his troubles.
