Stranger Things – The actress who plays Eleven has positive news about Season 2

Paul Moore

A return to The Upside Down is looking more straightforward.

Ever since the ominous disappearance of Will Byers in the opening few minutes, we were utterly gripped by the superb Netflix original series Stranger Things and we weren’t the only ones.

The cliffhanger teased so much and while we’ve done our very best to answer those lingering questions, it’s looking very likely that we’re going to see a second season of the smash-hit show.

We imagine that this is how you feel after reading that news.

Millie Bobby Brown is the superb actress who plays Eleven in the show and she was chatting with BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo this morning.

When asked about the prospect of a second season, here’s what she had to say “Netflix always does second seasons but we have no idea yet and we haven’t heard any official confirmation just yet. Matt and Ross Duffer are very open minded, they’re amazing geniuses and I’m sure they’ll think of something if there’s a Season 2”.

When combined with the comments that Netflix chief executive Reed Hastings made to The Guardian, it seems that we’re definitely getting another season of  Stranger Things.

When asked about a second season of the show, he said that it would “be dumb” not to commission one and that “because we don’t have advertising we are under a whole different model to not compare all the shows and rank other shows, because it kind of doesn’t matter what everybody loves the most it, matters what you or I love most. You can get approximations … if you look on IMDB the most popular TV show right now it’s Stranger Things, so that’s a reasonable proxy”.
