Television hasn’t been the same since it left our screens…
Fantastical game show The Crystal Maze is making a television comeback for a one-off special this year.
The game show, which was taken off-air 21 years ago, will be brought back for Stand Up To Cancer fundraising event in October – with a view to producing even more episodes if it is a ratings hit, according to The Sun.
The Guardian has also reported that despite rumours, Doctor Who star David Tennant has not been lined up to host the special – though Channel 4 has not revealed who will be the new face of the show.
The show was originally hosted by the iconic Richard O’Brien, before Ed Tudor-Pole took over in the latter seasons.
