It’s now the most successful and eagerly anticipated show in the world.
We imagine that everyone involved in Game of Thrones must be have a hangover that’s bigger than The Wall after their remarkable achievement at the Emmys. If ever a TV crew deserved a day off from filming, it’s those people that work on the HBO smash hit because their work on Season 6 has raised the bar.
Looking ahead now and it seems that some of our predictions for Season 7 are already coming true but as always, we know nothing official about what’s in store in Westeros.

As is the norm with big events like this, the cast and creators of Game of Thrones were asked about the future of the show and it appears that showrunners Benioff and Weiss won’t be involved with any potential spin-offs.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Benioff told reporters that he won’t be involved in any new show “It’s a great world that George created. I think it’s a very rich world, and I’m sure there will be other series set in Westeros, but for us, this is it. That’s really a question for George.”
With only two seasons left, Game of Throne is entering its final stage but given its critical and commercial popularity, we would be amazed if a spin-off wasn’t approved. George R.R Martin didn’t exactly say no to this idea, but he did warn that it would take some time.
“I do have thousands of pages of fake history of everything that led up to Game of Thrones, so there’s a lot of material there and I’m writing more. But, before you get too excited, he was clear nothing is guaranteed. “At the moment we still have this show to finish and I still have two books to finish so that’s all speculation”.
Regarding Season 7, the cast and crew weren’t giving too much away. Emilia Clarke has stated that there’s going to be a set-piece that has the potential to be even bigger than The Battle of the Bastards while D.B. Weiss says that the next season “will be bigger and it will be better, but it will also be worse but mostly better,”.
Worse?!?! Dear Jesus.
