Dr Cox is whipping ass.
A few weeks ago, we mentioned a few of the upcoming shows that really caught our attention and one of them was Stan Against Evil because it features one of our favourite actors, John C. McGinley.
It seems that McGinley has taken a break from pulling pints in Dublin because he’s back with a new show and this time he’s following through on all those ass-kicking threats that Dr Cox used to make in Scrubs.
In Stan Against Evil, McGinley plays an aging police sheriff who has recently lost his position due to an angry outburst. He begrudgingly joins an alliance with new sheriff, Evie Barret, to battle angry demons haunting their small New Hampshire town.
The trailer has just been released and we’re getting a very strong Ash vs Evil Dead vibe here (not a bad thing) but the comedy seems surreal and a little bonkers (definitely not a bad thing).
