The Sigur Rós soundtrack puts the icing on the cake.
At 90 years young, Sir David Attenborough shows no signs of slowing down and his dulcet tones will be making a welcome return in Planet Earth II, which will be coming to the BBC in the near future.
The original series, Planet Earth, really is as good as it gets in terms of nature documentaries and was well worth all the time, effort and expense that went into filming it over a five-year period.
Such was the quality of the original that there is huge anticipation about the sequel, which was filmed over four years across 64 different countries and once again features Attenborough making nature sound as if it’s all so simple.
If the trailer is anything to go by, it’s going to be special.
We can’t wait.
