If you did, you’d be dead wrong as the only place in Ireland to warrant a place on the ‘Magnificently Rude Map of World Place Names’ is, of course, a small town in northeast Donegal called Muff.
That’s right, the town with its own diving club joins the likes of Titz (Germany), Fucking (Austria) and Bollock (Philippines) on a remarkably rude map that can be yours for just over twenty quid.
The map, which is being sold by a company named Strumpshaw, Tincleton & Giggleswick, is the reward for some eh, extensive, research that covers some of the rudest sounding names on Earth, including Ragged Ass Road, Horneytown and about 50 places ending with the word ‘knob’ in Australia.
