Just in case you didn’t know, Donald Trump is very active on Twitter…
It’s important to be careful with the internet, because once you put something out there, in the age of screenshots and shares it’s impossible to get it back.
Over the last number of days, an old tweet belonging to President-elect from 2012 has started doing the rounds again.
But probably not for the reason you’d expect. The tweet reads: “We have to get tough with China before they destroy us.”

We think the tweet originally referred to China and their trade with the US. Trump has been particularly vocal about putting tariffs on Chinese imports and has claimed in the past that China is purposely devaluing their currency to make their exports more competitive on overseas markets.
But football fans have now hijacked the thread and are currently all using the same joke…
