There’s a Twitter account dedicated to people who regret voting for Donald Trump

Carl Kinsella

It looks like these lads might fancy a do-over.

Donald Trump has done a lot with his first week in the Oval Office. Having once criticised Barack Obama for his reliance on Executive Orders, he’s pumping them out himself like nobody’s business.

He has taken the first steps to building his border wall, he has undercut Obamacare to some extent and, most controversially, he has suspended the influx of Syrian refugees and made it very difficult for citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen to enter the United States.

A Twitter account has blossomed in the wake of Trump’s many controversies, called @Trump_Regrets. Its purpose seems to be to retweet those on Twitter who are expressing regret at having voted for Trump, whether it be over the new “extreme vetting measures”, his reinstitution of the Dakota Access pipeline or his broken promise to release his tax returns once he got into office.

Here’s a selection of those who have changed their mind on President Trump.
