What a numpty.
England played Colombia in the last 16 of the World Cup on Tuesday night, and to say it was a scrappy encounter is an understatement.
The only goals came from a Harry Kane penalty and a Yerry Mina header very late in normal time.
And although the game was decided on penalties, with only two minutes left in the game, Danny Murphy really didn’t see it going that way.
Murphy posted on the official BBC website that it was a ‘thoroughly deserved victory’, despite the fact that there was still vital minutes to be played.
And it was in those last few minutes that Barcelona’s Yerry Mina rose above Harry Maguire to head in his third goal of the tournament.

And it almost came back to bite him on the ass.
England just about went through winning on penalties.
It was Carlos Bacca who missed the decisive penalty, following a brilliant save from Jordan Pickford.
Eric Dier stepped up to win it, and he did so very calmly.
All England fans will be counting their lucky stars that they made it through, but Danny Murphy consider himself the luckiest.
