People loved Graham Norton’s cheeky burn on Ryan Tubridy

Now, now.

With the Late Late Show broadcasting from London for the very first time, there’s still a distinctly Irish feel about the couch this evening as Graham Norton was the first guest on the show.

As previously mentioned, the former Father Ted star was mainly speaking about his new novel, A Keeper, but Norton was also happy to chat about a plethora of topics including Brexit.

As TV fans will know, despite the fact that both shows air on a Friday night, Graham Norton pre-records his chatshow on a Thursday before it airs a day later.

Of course, on a Friday night, the Late Late Show airs a bit earlier than the Corkman’s show on the BBC but in terms of the guests and celebrities, it’s fair to say that Norton gets bigger names.

It’s just a fact.

On this note, during their talk, Norton happened to mention that his mother was watching his chat on the Late Late Show but despite their obvious friendly relationship, Norton couldn’t help but get a little dig on on his ‘rival.’

Well played, Graham. Well played.
