The first footage has revealed an awful lot.
Ah, the Beast from the East.
A storm that saw Ireland endure bread shortages and rampant looting. It also coincided with the release of the wonderful Money Heist, La Casa de Papel as it’s known to Spanish viewers, on Netflix and our binging habits were turned upside down.
Tense, clever and brilliantly acted, the heist drama was like vintage Prison Break and with talk that a spinoff is on the way, the show’s creator, Álex Pina, is returning to the scene of the crime.
Well, we don’t know if he’s returning to the exact location where that epic robbery took place, but some of the major players are coming back.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the show, the plot revolves around a mysterious figure known as The Professor that recruits a group of eight thieves who take hostages and lock themselves in the Royal Mint of Spain.
Can The Professor manipulate the police as these rogues execute his perfectly-laid plan?
Well, fans will be happy to know that Season 3 of the show will air in 2019 and as you can see below, the gang are back.
If you’re not up to date with the series then consider this to be your spoiler alert warning because the following footage includes a fairly notable spoiler.
Yep, fans of the show may have noticed that Pedro Alonso’s character, Berlin, is back for the new season.
At the end of Part Two, we were lead to believe that his character died during the heist but let the speculation begin!
