Pursued By Dogs back with another banger.
Halloween may be over, but that doesn’t mean we’re finished with bangers. That may be a tenuous link, but it’s certainly topical and I stand by it.
Pursued By Dogs, the Dublin indie-electronic four-piece band, have released another single from their much-lauded debut album.
The new song is called ‘Swap Dimensions’ and it’s another tour de force from a band who go from strength to strength.

2018 has been a big year for the band, with the release of a critically-acclaimed debut album, a summer of festival appearances and tour dates opening for the likes of Le Galaxie and HamSandwich.
We are big fans of Pursued By Dogs and have featured their stuff before so it’s a pleasure to see a hard-working band start to get the recognition their talent deserves.
‘Swap Dimensions’ is a rousing, alcohol-fuelled rumination on the greed that caused Ireland’s economic crash
and the resulting social damage.
Lead vocalist, Andrew Brennan says of the song: “I wrote Swap Dimensions at a time when I was definitely drinking too much and was feeling really disconnected from Ireland. A lot of my friends had left and I was angry about the legacy wrought by emigration.
“I look around now and, even though we see cranes all over the city, things haven’t changed all that much. There’s building happening and jobs being advertised, but there’s a whole subset of people who were failed by Ireland. The recent forced evictions we’re seeing in the news are a testament to that.”
