Featuring Tom Cruise, Bill Murray, Adam Sandler, and loads more.
Did you see how cold it is going to be tonight?
Forget that. Outdoors is for chumps.
But you’ve got options!
You’ve got the cinema, with lots of new releases, including the new Terminator movie, and we review them all right here.
Or you can sit in and enjoy one of these:
THURSDAY 24 OCTOBER
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol – Film4 – 9pm
The one where Tom climbs on the outside of the tallest building in the world. One of the best ones, to be honest.
Little Nicky – Comedy Central – 9pm
Adam Sandler’s mom is an angel and his dad is the Devil, and while he just wants to sit around listening to rock music all day, his dad is insistent that he gets involved in the “family business”. A comedy from earlier in Sandler’s career when all he had to do was make a funny voice and everyone LOL’d themselves inside out. Although quite why this movie cost $85 MILLION to make is beyond us.
You’re Next – Horror Channel – 10.35pm
A rich family attempt to mend old wounds by throwing a big dinner party, and it seems to be going pretty well until a group of masked killers with crossbows show up to kill everyone. Typical. This is your hit of horror (with some dark comedy on the side) tonight in your lead up to Halloween.
The Outlaw Josey Wales – ITV4 – 11pm
Clint Eastwood stars and directs in this Western about a man who is haunted by the death of his wife and child and is forced to start a new life, but years later, those same killers catch up with him, putting his new family in danger.
St Vincent – Film4 – 11.40pm
Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy star in this dryly funny dramedy about a cranky neighbour who goes out of his way to be as unhelpful as humanly possible.
