This decent crime flick stars Liam Neeson as an ex-hitman who goes on the run with his estranged adult son (Joel Kinnaman) after he is forced to kill the son of a mafia boss.
Ed Harris and Nick Nolte co-star.
Cooties – Horror Channel – 9pm
This horror-comedy with Elijah Wood sees a mysterious virus hit an isolated elementary school, transforming the kids into killer zombies.
The Ladykillers – Great! Movies Classic – 9pm
In this much adored ’50s black comedy, five criminals planning a bank robbery rent rooms from an elderly widow under the pretext that they are classical musicians.
Jaws – ITV4 – 9.05pm
Still as scary and thrilling nearly 50 years after its release.
Gladiator – RTÉ2 – 9.50pm
Russell Crowe stars in this epic historical drama that took home the Best Picture award at the Oscars.
Alien: Covenant – Channel 4 – 10pm
This latest entry in the legendary horror franchise boasts an amazing dual turn from Michael Fassbender.

This well-reviewed Indian romantic drama tells the story of a struggling street photographer in Mumbai who, when pressured to marry by his grandmother, convinces a shy stranger to pose as his fiancée.

The superhero movie that introduced Vision into the MCU.
Heartlands – TG4 – 10.30pm
Michael Sheen stars in this comedy-drama about a mild-mannered man who is expelled from his local darts team but decides to travel across the country on his own to the league finals in Blackpool.
A Lonely Place to Die – Horror Channel – 10.45pm
This sadly underseen British thriller sees group of mountaineers in the Scottish Highlands discover a kidnapped girl before being pursued by her captors.
Predators – ITV4 – 11.40pm
A group of elite warriors (including a mercenary played by Adrien Brody) are parachuted into an unfamiliar jungle and are hunted by members of a merciless alien race in this solid entry in the Predators franchise.
In the Line of Fire – RTÉ One – 12.20am
Our pick for tonight, this ’90s flick centres on Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood), the sole active-duty Secret Service agent still remaining from the detail that was guarding John F. Kennedy in Dallas at the time of his assassination.
Wracked with guilt over the events of that day decades later, when Frank receives a call from a mysterious man (an excellent John Malkovich) who says he is going to assassinate the current US President, the agent becomes determined to stop him.
Well-acted, tense and twisty, while also given added heft on account of its incorporating of US history into its plot, In the Line of Fire is an incredibly watchable oldschool thriller.

Natalie Portman is Jackie Kennedy in this well-reviewed 2016 biographical drama.
I Got Life! – BBC Two – 12.30am
This French drama centres on a recently divorced and unemployed 50-year-old woman who accidentally runs into the great love of her youth.
