Tom Cruise leads the cast.
Looking for a film to watch this Thursday night.
Well, both Amazon Prime Video and Netflix both recently added a whopping amount of movies to their services.
However, if none of these are for you, here’s what’s on the telly.
White House Down – ITV4 – 9pm
A Capitol Police officer (Channing Tatum) must save the President (Jamie Foxx) when the White House comes under attack in this fun buddy action flick.
John Carpenter’s Vampires – Horror Channel – 9pm
James Woods is a grizzled vampire hunter in this solid horror western from the director of Halloween and The Thing.
Like a Boss – Film4 – 9pm
Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek and Tiffany Haddish star in this workplace comedy with a lowly 21% score on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning its probably best to avoid.
Move Over, Darling – BBC Four – 9pm
Not to be confused with Olivia Wilde’s upcoming movie Don’t Worry Darling, Doris Day stars in this ’60s romantic comedy.
Calamity Jane – BBC Four – 10.40pm
Doris Day is the lead again, this time in a western musical.
The Inbetweeners Movie – Film4 – 10.40pm
The awkward teens from the hit sitcom make their first big-screen outing.
Paranormal Activity – Horror Channel – 11.05pm
The first in the long-running, low budget horror franchise.
Interview with the Vampire – Turner Classic Movies – 11.05pm
Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise star in this excellent gothic horror from Irish director Neil Jordan based on Anne Rice’s novel.
Oblivion – ITV4 – 11.40pm
Cruise again leads the cast of our pick for tonight, playing a technician in the future sent back to an Earth devastated by an alien war to extract the planet’s remaining resources.
However, while there, he begins to question what he knows about the mission and himself.
Oblivion’s gorgeous cinematography and sleek vision of the future more than makes up for the movie’s slightly formulaic story.
It has a great supporting cast too, including Andrea Riseborough, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo and Olga Kurylenko.
Frances Ha – Film4 – 12.35am
A New York woman (Greta Gerwig) apprentices for a dance company and throws herself headlong into her dreams, even as the possibility of realising them dwindles.
This acclaimed black and white comedy-drama from Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story) also features in its cast a pre-fame Adam Driver.
