It does for roommates what Jaws did for sharks.
We’re at that midpoint once again in the week when the weekend feels so near but yet so far.
However, as the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun and to do that, you can watch a movie tonight.
Here’s what is on the box this Wednesday evening (24 August).
Single White Female – Great! Movies Classic – 9pm
In our pick for tonight, a woman named Allie (Bridget Fonda) living in New York advertises for a new roommate after a breakup.
However, while the roommate she chooses, Hedy (Jennifer Jason Leigh), appears perfect at first, it isn’t long before she becomes unhealthily obsessed with Allie.
Arguably the ultimate roommate from hell movie, Single White Female benefits from two great central performances, stylish direction and some pretty shocking plot developments.
Arkansas – Film4 – 9pm
Clark Duke and Liam Hemsworth lead an ensemble cast in this pleasantly character-driven and twisty 2020 crime thriller.
