John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) sets out on a dangerous journey to Afghanistan to rescue his former commander Colonel Sam Trautman (Richard Crenna) in this action sequel.

A sequel to 2010’s quite good apocalyptic vampire horror Stake Land.
Bad Times at the El Royale – Film4 – 11.10pm
Our pick for tonight is this neo-noir thriller set in the ’60s revolving around seven strangers stuck at a rundown hotel called the El Royale.
With each of the people concealing personal and dark secrets, it isn’t long before the night descends into chaos.
Written and directed by Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods), Bad Times at the El Royale boasts a gripping and twisty plot, gorgeous cinematography and a great cast.
The latter includes Chris Hemsworth, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jeff Bridges and Jon Hamm.
Daddy’s Home 2 – Channel 4 – 11.15pm
This sequel to the 2015 hit festive comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell adds John Lithgow and Mel Gibson to the mix.
