Three multinational companies will create almost 500 jobs across the country in the coming months, it was announced on Tuesday.
SAP will increase its Irish workforce in Galway and Dublin by 260, while Swedish company Ericsson will create 120 new jobs for graduates in Dublin and Athlone.
Finally, Wipro have announced 100 new jobs in Shannon, County Clare.
SAP, the global business software firm, currently employs 1,200 people in Ireland.
The new roles come in Research and Development in Citywest in Dublin.
The jobs at Ericsson, meanwhile, are across a range of areas, including software development, programme management and consultancy.
Finally, Indian IT company Wipro will increase the Irish arm of its business by 50% as they announced plans to boost its Shannon workforce from 200 to 300 in the coming year.
