Spooky season has well and truly hit.
Halloween is just around that darkly lit corner.
It’s supposed to be the scariest night of the year, so instead of sticking a flashlight under your chin and telling hackneyed ghost stories, why not try out one these ghoulish attractions.
CarnEvil
CarnEvil is the West Of Ireland’s first scare attraction, housed in the haunted Printing Press of the Connacht Tribune in Galway, where, over 150 years ago, a seemingly innocent travelling carnival came to the city, only to leave its citizens so scarred and terrified, that all memories of it have been stricken from official records, never to be spoken of again. Until now…
Our own Eric Lalor recently took a trip there and found it incredibly scary. It runs until midnight on Halloween.

Derry City
Derry is officially the best city on the planet to spend Halloween in. The whole place gets a little creepy, with fireworks, events and street artists making it a very special place to be on October 31. The whole city is one big event!
