Bioxsine Blog, Week 10: How long should I leave it in for?

This week, the Bioxsine blog takes a look at the proper way for applying the all natural shampoo and serum.

This week, the Bioxsine blog takes a look at the proper way for applying the all natural shampoo and serum.

Over the past ten weeks I’ve been taking a look thinning hair and how to combat it with a natural hair loss product called Bioxsine. I’ve also been doing my best to answer your questions that have been emailed in thick and fast, one of which was ‘how long should I leave the product in my hair before I was it out?’

The beauty about the Bioxsine shampoo and serum is that once you put it in your hair you can leave it in until your next shower. When the product is in it doesn’t smell bad and it certainly doesn’t cause any type of irritation that would warrant washing it out.

According to the Bioxsine Ireland website, keepyourhairon.ie, “the Bioxsine serum should be left on the scalp for a minimum of 8 hours.  The longer it is on the scalp surface, the faster the effects and results will be seen.”

So basically, once you’ve washed your hair and given it a spray with the Bioxsine serum you can just forget about. When you’re actually washing your hair, it’s best to leave the shampoo in for one and a half to two minutes while you gently massage your head. This just helps the shampoo to work it’s way down to your scalp.

Once you’ve left it in for two minutes you should rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Retaining Bioxsine shampoo on the hair for extended periods will not have any further positive impact on the treatment process so don’t bother leaving it in while you make a cuppa tea.

So far I have to say I’m quite happy with the Bioxsine Forte shampoo and serum. It’s been keeping my hair nice and thick and I’ve really seen a reduction in the amount of hair that has been falling out.

It’s been another good week for my hair and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing what’s in store over the next few weeks.

Check back next week to see how Oisin is getting on in the Bioxsine hair loss blog. Bioxsine is available from all good pharmacies nationwide. For more on the all-natural hair loss treatment, check out www.keepyourhairon.ie.
