This week the Bioxsine blog tackles the frequently asked question of what to do once you’ve applied the shampoo and serum.
It’s now week 9 of the Bioxsine blog and your questions have been coming in thick and fast. One question that you lads out there seem to be constantly asking is what’s the best thing to do once you’ve applied the shampoo and serum.
You’re probably used to blasting your hair with a hot hair dryer or giving your head a good hard scrub with a towel after a shower. However, both of these methods of drying your noggin can often be harmful to your hair. If you’re using the Bioxsine Forte serum, like me, then you’ll want to avoid drying your hair off with a towel at all costs. It might be the quickest way to a dry head, however, it will just absorb the helpful active ingredients found in the serum.
So what about the hair dryer? The problem with the hair dryer is that prolonged use of a dryer on a high temperature setting has a harmful effect on hair. Having it too hot will basically scorch the already weak follicles and you need them to be as strong as possible. If you find damp hair uncomfortable then the Irish Bioxsine website, keepyourhairon.ie, recommends that you use the dryer on the lowest heat setting. At least this way you’ll dry your hair and keep it looking well.
As for myself, I’ve enjoyed the past few weeks looking at a thicker head of hair compared to a few months ago. My hair really started jumping ship back then and I was getting sick and tired of brushing it off my desk in work only for it to reappear in five minutes. However, these days I’m certainly brushing less hair away so obviously less hair is falling out.
Even the husky Bioxsine smell is starting to smell okay and I’m finding myself secretly enjoying it. The back of the bottle says to use the serum at night before you go to bed, but I’m also giving my head a quick spray in the mornings too, just to boost it’s effectiveness.
The only thing I’d say if you’re using the serum in the mornings is that you have to watch out for any drips that might creep down your forehead or neck as it can look like you’ve asked your younger sister to give you a spray tan. It’s best to make sure it’s dried into your hair nicely and give your forehead and neck a quick wipe before you head out the door. Other than that I’ve had another good week and I’m looking forward to see what happens over the next few months.
Check back next week to see how Oisin is getting on in the Bioxsine hair loss blog. Bioxsine is available from all good pharmacies nationwide. For more on the all-natural hair loss treatment, check out www.keepyourhairon.ie.
