If you’re one of those blokes who’s fit for a role on Tool Academy then you’ll definitely want to check out this new nasal spray.
A hormone which has been directly linked with fidelity has now been identified by scientists and they believe they can use this hormone to stop men from straying away. Sounds a bit too good to be true, really (and that’s what your missus is probably thinking too).
The hormone was added into a nasal spray and it was tested on 57 married men and bachelors. Researchers from the Bonn University then introduced the men to an “attractive researcher”. The men had to rate how comfortable they felt being around the hot researcher as she walked closer towards them.
Surprisingly, the researchers found that the married men all got a bit uneasy when the hot researcher got up close and personal, while the bachelors on the other hand couldn’t have loved it more. So it looks like the hormone stops married men from getting too close to hot babes, but it won’t affect any singletons out there.
Apparently, it’s all down to oxytocin, dubbed the ‘love hormone’. The more oxytocin that’s present in a married man the less likely he is to stray. So if the missus gets you a bottle of oxytocin nasal spray this Christmas you’ll know that she thinks something is up.
