Conor McGregor will be getting jealous.
Vinnie Gough is a Dublin fitness instructor who recently became the fittest man in the world.
Originally a rugby guy, as well as a personal trainer, Vinnie got injured and could no longer train for rugby so he decided to take on a challenge and entered an amateur muscle show in April.
Winning the amateur show allowed Vinnie to compete against professionals which he decided to do and ended up winning the World Title WBFF (World, beauty, fitness and fashion) in Las Vegas making him officially the fittest man in the world .
To compete in the competition Vinnie dropped from 96 kilos to 84.5 kilos which he did through dropping his calorie intake and increasing his cardio.
Speaking to Ray Foley on 98fm Vinnie said he never expected to win because he had only competed in his first amateur show just months earlier.
