The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has warned that Quorn has issued a recall of its cocktail sausages over fears of the presence of small metal pieces.
The vegetarian cocktail sausages are on sale in various supermarkets across Ireland, and point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches.
The warning is also specific to the 180g batches of the product.
To identify whether or not your cocktail sausages have been affected, check the best by date. Products bearing the following dates are contaminated: 27/07/2019, 28/07/2019 and 30/07/2019.
