Now here’s a very powerful video.
Losing weight is tough, but it can be incredibly rewarding to see your hard work paying off in the form of a fit and healthy body.
Unfortunately, for some people, losing a large amount of weight can have its own issues, like 22-year-old Matt Diaz, who lost a whopping 270lbs (122kg) of weight over a six-year period only to be left with a lot of excess skin.
Matt didn’t want to be ashamed of the way he looked anymore, so he took to YouTube to show the world what he really looks like beneath a layer of clothing.

Speaking in his video, Matt says:
“I’m a big advocate for body positivity, but I’ve never shown what my excess skin looks like. I think it’s important that I do, because I want to be open with new people about who I am and what my body is like.
“I work really hard and there’s just nothing I can do about it. I’m scared people won’t find me attractive anymore.”
“But I’m not going to be ashamed of who I am, not anymore.”
Matt since set up a a GoFundMe page asking for $20,000 donations to help pay for skin removal surgery, but in just two days the page has received a staggering $45,700.
Writing on his GoFundMe page, Matt said: “I can’t believe how much attention this has gotten in the last hour or so. You all are so incredible.”
