Weight Watchers Diary: Week 8

Another four pounds have slipped off this week, so I’m definitely moving in the right direction now.

Starting weight: 15 stone 3 pounds

Current weight: 14 stone 4 pounds

Another week and four punds have disappeared. I’m now 14 stone 4 pounds and my clothes don’t exactly fit the way they used to. Refusing to throw out my old clothes has been a major motivating factor since I began my Weight Watchers adventure and having handed over good money for them, I just could not bring myself to bin them.

I mixed things up a bit this week and actually cooked for myself, even though I hate it. My Weight Watchers leader offered me some valuable advice about preparing a week’s worth of meals on a Sunday and popping them in the freezer, so I can easily budget my ProPoints throughout the week as well as saving myself some time.

So, into the Kitchen I went on Sunday and prepared my meals for the week to come. In under two hours, I had five dinners  wrapped and in the freezer. Dinner sorted for the week!

On course to lose the weight before the wedding

I wasn’t keen on the idea initially but I can’t argue with the results. As well as shedding the pounds, I saved myself some time, as well as some money, and it’s so convenient having ProPoints friendly meals just waiting in the freezer. It’s also great to have a dinner there ready when you get home in the evening.

I also went on a three-mile run to build up some activity ProPoints for tonight and I’ll add even more activity ProPoints with a 15-minute skipping session tomorrow.
