I am delighted to say that I have now hit the 14 stone mark and my continued hard work seems to be paying off after losing another four pounds.

Name: Francis Ryan

Starting weight: 15 stone 3 pounds

Current weight: 14 stone

The weather this week has been unpredictable, seemingly having a different season each day, so I headed to the gym and pushed it out each day until the burn kicked in. Then I moved onto the weights which built up a lot of activity ProPoints but for once I didn’t use any so I’m not surprised with the results.

I find surrounding yourself with the right food when you are studying is the safe option as you can get caught up with work and eat the nearest thing too you.

The class this week was about planning your food intake ahead of schedule, especially around events that might have you eating more than you usually would. As soup is so easy and cheap to make, I will have myself a pot of it close by to go with my frozen meals that I prepared on Sunday.

Preparation has been key to my success so far and as a footballer once said, fail to prepare, prepare to fail. This would heavily apply to me when it comes to eating and the lifestyle choices I made in the past.

Weight Watchers is about a lot more than just losing weight, it’s about changing bad habits and replacing them with new ones. I now feel that after nine weeks this might be happening for me and I now find it easier to walk by fast food outlets.

The meetings are always very helpful and provide further encouragement, providing little nuggets of information and it’s great hearing some advice more than once.

With just three more weeks I am confident I can continue my healthy eating and lose a few more pounds.
