The list could go on and on.
It’s a tough life, we all know that, but it’s the little things that can get you down the most.
This is a list for all the little things that no one gives a damn about until it happens to you and then it is the biggest thing that has ever happened in the world.
There is, after all, nothing worse than a…
1. Paper cut

There are a number of reasons that the pain of a paper cut is such a torment.
All you were doing was rifling through some papers.
You were probably at work, in a nice, safe work environment and BAM, you feel a sharp pain in your thumb and every time you use your hand the pain comes back to you.
But does anyone care? No, of course not. Sure it’s just a paper cut.
2. Insomnia
Whether it’s because you actually can’t sleep or you are hopelessly addicted to Peaky Blinders, Vikings, or rewatching The Wire, feeling tired the next morning from lack of sleep gets no sympathy whatsoever.
“Go to sleep earlier” is the advice, like that is a realistic thing to tell anyone addicted to Game of Thrones.

3. Missing the bus
Everyone knows how unreliable the bus is and how awful it is to be caught in the cold and wet but when you arrive to work late, looking like a drowned rat, all you get is the boss tapping his watch and disappointed looks from your co-workers.

4. Stubbed toe
It is a pain like no other. You’d genuinely prefer to have snapped your cruciate and broken your nose.
At least then someone might buy you a Twix.

5. Hangovers
“It was self-inflicted.”
Oh piss off.
