Whether you’re counting the pennies or happy to splash the cash a bit, the Costa del Sol offers options for everyone and anyone
Given the recent turn that the weather has taken, we are desperate to get a bit of sunshine as soon as we can, so the Costa del Sol is at the top of our list.
Obviously, we can get sun, sand and sea, but what about the other essentials of any good holiday abroad, the food and drink?
If you want to grab a few beers as you chill out of an evening, you can rustle up some change from your pocket, as a frosty cold one costs as little as €3.
If you’re looking to fuel yourself with a bit of grub, a fancy three course meal will only set you back around €14, so you’ll have plenty of change left in your pocket for the rest of the night’s activities.
One of the must see eateries is Moochers Jazz Cafe, situated in the heart of Fuengirola’s biggest eating area. There’s live music seven nights a week with some of the best musicians on the coast, and the menu offers a mix of just about everything from spicy chicken kebabs to savoury pancakes and more. The set menu for three courses comes in at under €18 too, so you needn’t worry about how far your euro will stretch.
A few scoops won’t break the bank either, from a range of great cocktails starting at about €6.95 down to Spanish beers for €3 and a bar stocked with anything you could ask for. With the weather guaranteed to be good, you can head up to the rooftop bar for a great view as you enjoy your drink.
If you’re headed over with a group, be it a bunch of lads or on a golf holiday, Moochers can sort you out with a private terrace too.
La Cervezateca in Torremolinos is also a great spot to get a few scoops in with the lads, boasting a huge selection of beers from all around the world, they’ve got over 100 on the menu!
So if you’re looking forward to a break in the sun as much as we are, head on over to our mates at ThomasCook.com who can sort everything out for you, hassle free.
