With so much to do on an iPhone the battery can often die pretty quickly. Here’s a cool little device that aims to put an end to premature iPhone battery death.
Do you find that your iPhone is constantly running low on battery just when you need it most? Like when Sir Alex is about to call you up to replace Rooney for the day, or Miranda Kerr is looking for some company.
Most phones have a habit of dying just when they’re needed most, but with the CasePower A4 for the iPhone 4 (and 4S) you’ll never be caught out with a dead battery again. Well, unless you allow the battery on the CasePower device to drain. It’s not magic after all.
When fully charged the CasePower A4 gives you 210 hours of standby time, up to five hours of talk-time on 3G and up to 28 hours of audio play. Not too shabby we think you’ll agree.
The case is handy in more ways than one. Once you put your iPhone in the battery pack it will begin to charge. However, if, for whatever reason, you don’t want the battery pack to sit there wasting away you can simply turn off the power with a single button and use the case as an iPhone protector. Two birds, one stone and all that.
This moves us on nicely to the case itself. There are some good points and some bad points about it. We’ll start with the good. The CasePower A4 feels stunningly soft as it’s wrapped in a smooth rubberised ABS plastic; the type that feels a bit like that fake leather – but not the cheap kind. The other great thing about the case is the fact that it doesn’t get in the way. You can comfortably talk, type and listen to music without it interfering in any way.
The only criticism about the CasePower A4 is the sheer size of it. It’s chunky and bulky and you may find it to be a bit of challenge trying to squeeze one into a new pair of skinny jeans. If you’re a skinny jeans type of lad, that is. Some people may even think you’re just a bit ‘over excited’ to see them… if you catch our drift.
In fairness, however, it’s next to impossible to find a backup battery case that works as well as the CasePower A4 and is skinnier too. So that one negative is pretty much cancelled out.
For what it is the CasePower backup battery pack is a great little device to have handy. After all, you never know when you could be stuck in the mountains of Patagonia and you’ve no battery left to call for help.
You can own your very own CasePower A4 backup battery pack for just €60.94 over on the Electric Ireland Online Store now.
