This map of Europe runs through the many culinary horrors on offer throughout Europe, from ‘Liver Paste’ in Denmark to ‘Cow Lung Soup’ in Greece to Sardinia’s patented ‘Maggot Cheese.’
Ah here.
Then again, there may be shenanigans at play here. Nobody in Ireland or England refers to ‘Blood Pudding’ for ‘Black Pudding’ – a handy little name that allows you never to think what it’s made of – while in Scotland there are far worse things that a deep fried pizza.
Like haggis. They forgot to mention haggis.
