Corkman with a lovely act of kindness after finding a strangers wallet at a music festival

Fair play to him

Paul Moore

Fair play to him.

There’s three things that are guaranteed to happen at every music festival. 1) Great music, 2) better craic and 3) you’ll lose something.

While most people are accustomed to losing their friends or sobriety, one music fan happened to lose his wallet with €150 inside at the recent Metropolis Festival in Dublin.

Ronan Sherman from Bishopstown, Cork found the wallet and managed to track down its owner via Facebook.

This is the message that Ronan got in reply to his very kind gesture. It’s nice to see that no good deed goes unrewarded and fair play to both lads.
